What is Reiki?

Reiki is a beautiful energy-based healing technique that uses a gentle hands-on approach to cultivate deep relaxation, stress alleviation, and transformative healing. Rooted in Japanese tradition, the term ‘Reiki’ merges ‘Rei,’ meaning spiritually guided, and ‘Ki,’ representing the vital life energy. This practice harmonizes with the universal life force energy (‘ki’ in Japanese, ‘chi’ in Chinese, ‘prana’ in Sanskrit, or ‘biofield energy’ in modern science), yet it carries a distinctive touch of higher-level spiritual guidance.

What is a Reiki Session?

My Reiki sessions are a nurturing experience where my hands are placed gently and comfortably on or just above your clothed body. You’ll be invited to lay on a cozy massage/reiki table, draped with a blanket, as you bask in profound relaxation, allowing healing energy to harmonize your being. It’s akin to an energetic massage, where you may or may not notice subtle energy sensations as shifts occur, enveloped in a loving and compassionate connection.

During the session, I may work on both the front and back or just one side of your body, and afterward, you will be able to take your time to gently emerge from your peaceful state. If you wish, you can discuss your experiences with me.

The sessions often leave recipients with a renewed sense of clarity, balance, and inner harmony. In the hours and days following your session, it can be beneficial to continue processing by journaling, staying well-hydrated, and resting as needed.
